Epione Craniosacral therapy

The treatment of babies and children who have suffered cranial distortion

What’s Craniosacral therapy?

Craniosacral therapy is in the treatment of babies and children who have suffered cranial distortion before, during or soon after birth. Even natural, problem free births can cause an imbalance in a baby’s system.  This treatment is gentle, enjoyable for parents and baby andis free from risk and side effects.

Who can benefit?

We recommend all babies receive a check up, however if a baby cries too much, refuses food, is stiff and difficult to handle, has sleeping problems, has swallowing difficulty or even shows a distinct preference to lie on one side, or not to lie on its back, or is dopey and just ‘too good’, taking no interest in anything, or rubs or bangs its head, or fails to develop normally, then chances are that there is a cranial distortion. All such children may well benefit from a visit to a craniosacral therapist.

Older children who get ‘worked up’ over tests may also benefit from craniosacral therapy to help them to relax and sleep.
