What’s involved?

1.  The consultation

This is our opportunity to get to know you. It’s not just about establishing what is the problem we need to treat, it’s about finding what was causing the issue and if there are things outside the clinic that can help in preventing the problem recurring. Our focus as a clinic is about getting you back to active. This might be playing for your local rugby team or enjoying the gardening on the weekend. We need to find this out to know what to aim for and how long it will take us to achieve it.

Our consultation usually lasts about 1 hour

2.  Treatment

Treatment will involve a variety of soft tissue techniques, possibly using ART or Graston techniques

Our consultation usually lasts about 30mins

3. Maintenance

You will be given aftercare advice, which may involve ice/heat, stretching, Kinesio taping or strengthening. Further treatment options will then be discussed with you and a follow up treatment arranged.
